Challenge: Our brief was to design luxury apartments that could feel like villas, however we would need to overcome the steepness of the terrain which required dedicated and accurate platforming during the design stage.

Challenge: A narrow and steep site required careful planning to optimise building placement, manage level changes and ensure all dwellings capture views over the city.

Challenge: Strict planning approval process via SSD that required a high level of technical ability. Succesfully achieved.

VIBE HOTEL - Extension

deBLANCO Design Studio was commissioned to design a thoughtful extension to a private residence adjacent to the Vibe Hotel in Dural, NSW. The project enhances the home’s spatial flow and functionality, introducing new living areas that open to the landscape while maintaining the original character of the house. Natural materials, soft transitions, and generous glazing create a warm, light-filled sanctuary that balances privacy with a sense of openness and connection to the surrounding bushland.
