17 Luxury Waterfront Units at Caroline Bay

Challenge: Our brief was to design luxury apartments that could feel like villas, however we would need to overcome the steepness of the terrain which required dedicated and accurate platforming during the design stage.

"We have designed 49Caroline to create a unique daily experience for residents, which captures the essence of a Mediterranean lifestyle. Daydreaming, resting while feeling safe, sitting under the sun with the hill at your back, surrounded by nature, enjoying dinner with family & friends under the night sky, or witnessing a sunset that makes time stand still… These are the experiences we have considered throughout the design process, resulting in a remarkable and unequalled architectural expression" Enrique Blanco de Cordova

Challenge: A narrow and steep site required careful planning to optimise building placement, manage level changes and ensure all dwellings capture views over the city.

“The podium engages directly with the terrain, resolving the site’s steep topography, while the curved roofs respond to distant views towards the harbour — lifting the architecture and drawing light into the living spaces.”

187 Residential apartments and amenities in Gosford.

Challenge: Strict planning approval process via SSD that required a high level of technical ability. Succesfully achieved.

Challenge: The brief from the client was for a state-of-the-art seniors living development which should include spaces for true social interaction.
